Anthony Sands is a multidisciplinary builder, fabricator, and installation lead with over two decades of experience spanning construction, fine art, television, live events, and scenic production. His career began in traditional trades — brick and block work, residential construction, framing, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, and custom furniture fabrication — before evolving into large-scale artistic and technical fabrication.

Drawn toward the creative side of building, Anthony transitioned into the arts, where he specialized in sculpture fabrication, museum installations, and complex experiential builds for artists, galleries, and institutions. His ability to bridge craftsmanship with creative problem-solving naturally led him into television and film production, where he expanded into set construction, scenic fabrication, and prop making.

Anthony spent six seasons with Saturday Night Live as a journeyman carpenter, contributing to the fast-paced demands of live television production. Since then, he has worked nationally as a contract Lead Carpenter, Technical Director, Installation Lead, and fabrication consultant across a wide range of productions and large-scale events.

His credits include work with YouTube as a Lead Carpenter, MrBeast as a set consultant, TIHATI Productions as Lead Props Technician, and Kualoa Ranch as Lead Prop Tech. Most recently, Anthony served as Installation Lead for the Met Gala 2026, overseeing high-level installation coordination and execution under demanding timelines.

Known for his adaptability and leadership under pressure, Anthony combines deep field knowledge with hands-on technical expertise in scenic fabrication, structural builds, logistics, labor coordination, and creative problem-solving. His background ranges from construction sites and museums to live broadcast television, immersive events, and large-scale productions.

Anthony also operates a 5-star rated art handling and handyman business established in 2017, with extensive experience managing high-value artwork, installations, specialty fabrication, and technical projects between New York City and Honolulu.
